From Blog to Cookbook: 100 Days of Real Food

100daysMeet Lisa Leake, author of our new cookbook 100 Days of Real Food, publishing on August 26. In 2010, Lisa experienced a food revelation about what healthy eating really means, and it completely changed her family’s diet and how she thought about food. Her blog, also called 100 Days of Real Food, has been an outlet for her to share her new lifestyle ever since, and we’re so excited to help turn her vision into her first cookbook!

On her blog, Lisa offers “real food tips” such as how to read food labels and how to cook for children. She also encourages readers to participate in the 10 Day Pledge, which shows readers how to cut out processed foods such as refined grains, artificial sweeteners and to focus on eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and natural juices. 100 Days of Real Food expands the information on Lisa’s blog and features 100 kid-friendly recipes the whole family can enjoy. Recipes range from tasty and accessible meals like Cajun Alfredo with Shrimp to satisfying desserts such as Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites. The recipes are accompanied by dozens of beautiful photographs to get everyone in the family on board with these important lifestyle changes. Our mouths are already watering just thinking about it!
