New Year’s Eve Refreshment: Tiger Shrimp Tango Vodka Martini

If you’re looking for a drink to add a special flair to your New Year’s Eve party, look no further! Tim Dorsey, New York Times bestselling author of the comic crime novel Tiger Shrimp Tango, recently launched a contest to find a drink recipe inspired by the title for his new book. After much deliberation (and maybe some taste-testing…), the recipe submitted by fan Kate Buckley was chosen as winner.

Mix up the recipe below and serve it at your New Year’s Eve party, or sip it Wednesday morning to pull yourself together with some hair-of-the-dog. While sipping this nutritious and delicious cocktail, we recommend browsing through the first chapters of the Dorsey’s novel, available in the free Tropical Warnings e-book sampler. You will soon realize that Tiger Shrimp Tango has its own intoxicating effect. Other ways to spend your New Year’s Day: pre-order your copy of Tiger Shrimp Tango (on sale January 28, 2014), or follow Tim’s hilarious posts on Facebook.
