they needed it done and open in 10 days. When I got there I was sersipud to see all the beds still made and everything in the units . So I asked friends who have all done cleaning as a living to help. With that I got certain people stating they could work only certain days. Some days it would be 2 or 3 then other days it was up to 12. It did not help that everytime we got rms done John and Linda would come from Toronto and use 1. which meant going back and redoing. All the linens had to be stript from the units and washed that is 14 units in all plus detox their staffing quarters their house dinning rm and meeting rms and fitness center. There were millions of live and dead flies in lg meeting hall which we had to go back over and over again. PLUS all the bathrooms to be done which had mold all over the stalls walls and porcelin. Linda kept adding to my duties everyday. They hired a contractor from Oshawa that knew NOTHING and came with no tools of any kind, had no idea about water systems in rural areas and asked 1 of my staff if she wanted to smoke a joint on occasion, which was spoken to Connie about. As it was Connie’s reccomendation for this contractor. It ended up we were asked to powerwash all the units fix steps help with the landscaping [cleaning up] and the list goes on.John told the contractor to seal the woodstoves in each unit and he did. Without checking them which it turns out that they were all dirty filled with burnt wood ,ashes and in 1 case a dead bird. So I asked my husband Tom to reopen them all. Again extra workfor all. We would get units done and then the rug shampooers would come in and they all needed matresses in them so again we waited for them to get them there before we could get beds done and then have to re vaccumm each and every unit. Has anyone ever cleaned without water. We carried 5 gallons pails of hot water for days to clean and dissenfect units because we had no water. But when all was said and done they were very happy. Although John took his sweet time paying the bill which had me driving at least every twoo wks for 1 hr there and 1hr back to collect small amounts .He took his sweet time paying for a job well done they said took us till April to collect final payement which was Toms and my money as we made sure everyone who I employed got there money before Christmas. And then I gave him another letter saying how much he owed us still and being frazzled by him and put off for such a long time made a mistake of $400.00 and he wrote the last check for that amount ,my mistake yes but any honest person would have said Hey Liz you made amistake so I corrected it NOT. As for security I never watched tv.I watched the screens Did my rounds as I was told to do. That’s it.I have a bunch of text messages from John on my phone asking me how we can try and get along and forget all that has happened’ I never replied to that one because I was told thatI couldn’t have anymore contact with him from my security company. So this is my 1 and only response to John Haines. I have never written anything bad about pickeral lake recovery.Liz Little

Ahh I can exactly usatrnednd many of the sentiments you wrote about in your post! I am also a perfectionist, and I couldn’t agree more that it can sometimes be exhausting. My sweet nature has definitely gotten me into sticky situations sometimes, but nonetheless, I am who I am, and I love it. What a great recipe you have here, I love playing around with ingredients and tweaking dishes.

  3. I was just seeking this info for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your web site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative web sites in top of the list. Normally the top web sites are full of garbage.
