RELISH Your Mornings with Daphne Oz’s Fudgy Chocolate Banana Flax Muffins

Muffins have been getting a bad rap lately as junk food bombs disguising themselves as breakfast food (perhaps that’s because they usually are full of sugar and fat). Here to save the day and give us the chance to relish our muffins once again is Daphne Oz, co-host of ABC’s The Chew and author of The Dorm Room Diet and her new book, Relish.

Relish is full of delicious and mostly-healthy recipes (and lots of lifestyle tips, from how to apply make-up to how to arrange a congenial living room). Daphne wants to help us all start enjoying today, to start getting the most out of our lives right now, rather than waiting for five years from now when we may or may not have moved into our dream home/nabbed the perfect job/found our soul mate/lost those last 10 pounds/etc. The recipes and tips in Relish will  help us on our way to an adventure in food, style and everyday fun–and who doesn’t want that? I know I do. In fact, I’m going to start this week, by making these muffins to share with some of my favorite people. Who do you love enough to share these chocolatey and healthy muffins with?
