COOKBOOKS FOR MOM: THE TREATS TRUCK BAKING BOOK
I love cookbooks, but my personal favorite is actually a baking book—THE TREATS TRUCK BAKING BOOK by Kim Ima. Let me start off by saying that I love baked goods… cookies, cupcakes, rice crispy bars, pies, lemon squares… don’t even get me started on lemon squares!
When I first started working with Kim Ima, I fell more than a little in love with her truck. Sugar, the chic retro food truck making stops all over NYC, is always stocked with the best goodies you can imagine – and they never disappoint. Luckily, with THE TREATS TRUCK BAKING BOOK, everyone can enjoy Kim’s delightful, simple, and delicious recipes at home.
And the icing on the proverbial cake is that Kim is the kind of person who always slips you a cookie (or lemon square) on top of what you’ve ordered, or just when she’s stopping by. Because she’s sweet and wonderful, and that’s the kind of gift I want to give my mom on Mother’s Day. I know how fun these recipes are to bake, and I know my mom will love Kim’s motto—“not too fancy, always delicious”—just as much as I do.
And, hey, it wouldn’t hurt if mom had a fresh batch of Kim’s lemon squares cooling on the kitchen counter the next time I came home.
