Amuse Bouche: Crunch Time

Here at The Secret Ingredient we’re pretty obsessed with food, so of course we love some foodie fun in our mysteries. Nobody does it better than the Julia Child of mystery authors, New York Times bestselling author Diane Mott Davidson. Diane has written sixteen mysteries, all featuring caterer/sleuth Goldy Schulz. Her newest book, Crunch Time: A Novel of Suspense, came out yesterday!

Besides serving up lots of murder and suspense, each deliciously clever book includes original mouthwatering recipes. In addition to writing, Diane’s other passion is cooking. When her first culinary mystery was published, she convinced the publisher, St. Martin’s Press, to include four original recipes—something no other mystery writer had done. Her book, and her recipes, were a success. Since then she has developed more than 100 tasty treats for Goldy, and her fans always love to find the recipes at the back of the books. 

Filled with danger as well as laughs, wonderful food, and scrumptious recipes, Crunch Time is a delicious indulgence sure to satisfy all fans of Goldy Schulz.
