Monday’s Good Bites

Good morning! I’m sure you’re all busy with Thanksgiving preparations, but take a break, relax, and check out some of the great clips our favorite authors have been getting. Some of them might even have some tips to make your prep easier!

Our very own Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond wrote a behind the scenes blog about her experience on the Thanksgiving-themed Throwdown with Bobby Flay (if you didn’t get to watch it, we won’t tell you who won, and Ree won’t either)! She has tons of great Thanksgiving recipes on her blog, including her favorite rosemary-and-orange scented brine.

A recipe for Dukkah from Susan Herrmann Loomis’ cookbook Nuts in the Kitchen was posted on NPR’s website!

Rick Rodgers–fantastic author, chef and guest blogger–was featured as Author of the Day on last week! Congratulations, Rick!

Time Out New York Kids has posted the recipe for Alice’s Famous Pumpkin Scones from Alice’s Tea Cup on their website. These scones make a great Thanksgiving treat–and the book makes a great host or hostess gift, too!
