Good morning, cookbook fans! I hope everyone’s holiday weekend was full of fun and great food. Let’s start the week off with some media hits for our favorite authors and cookbooks.

New York Magazine features The New Brooklyn Cookbook by Melissa and Brendan Vaughan and gives it an incredible “highbrow/brilliant” rating in its weekly Approval Matrix! The book comes out in October, but read the article to find out how you can get an early copy.

Baker extraordinaire Nick Malgieri, author of classic baking books such as Cookies Unlimited and How to Bake, is back with a new cookbook this fall. In the meantime, he was recently highlighted as author of the day on … check it out!

Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain was chosen as one of Food and Wine’s Best Beach Reads, and we couldn’t agree more! If you’re craving even more Bourdain, check out this clip from the most recent episode of Top Chef, where he was a guest judge!
